Happy, Healthy HOmes. Guided by nature

Your home is more than just shelter

Your home should make you happy. It should be a place you love to be and love to show off

Your home should nurture you. It should keep you safe and contribute to your health and well-being

Your home should work for you. It should be customized to function for your unique needs and tastes

At Adapt Interior Design these are the reasons we show up every day, to create happy, nurturing homes that are thoughtfully customized for you.

Our designs are guided by the principles of Biophilic Design, the concept that humans have an inherent desire to connect with nature and that incorporating those connections in the built environment can improve the health and well-being of its occupants. From initial concepts to material selections to lighting, our designers draw inspiration from nature through every step of the design process.

Meet The Team

HANNAH HACKER, CMKBD

OWNER & LEAD DESIGNER

Hannah has been designing beautiful, functional spaces for homeowners in the Portland area since 2005. After receiving her degree in Interior Design from Oregon State University she moved to Portland and started her career at a well-established design-build firm. In 2011, looking for a new challenge, she took the leap to business ownership and started Adapt Interior Design.

When she is not running a business and designing homes, Hannah enjoys traveling the world with her husband (ask her about chasing leopards in Botswana), hiking, growing vegetables in her garden and spending time at the Oregon Coast.

MORGAN BASS, CKBD

Design ASSOCIATE

Morgan has been supporting Adapt Interior Design with drafting, 3-D rendering and general design assistance since 2018. Her background is in hospitality, but she has always been a creator at heart. Desiring a change of pace from the restaurant world she went back to school to explore more creative career opportunities and fell in love with interior design, ultimately receiving her degree in Interior Design from Portland Community College.

In addition to performing 3-D rendering wizardry and chasing down tile samples Morgan loves cooking and sharing memorable meals with friends, camping as much as possible, big orange cats, and listening to vinyl.
